What If? Blockade of Lannisport

Steelshanks Walton was tireless in his efforts to keep the camp orderly, unsoiled. Roose Bolton had entrusted him with the majority of the Dreadfort forces to choke Lannisport and in time force capitulation from those locked behind the golden gates of Casterly Rock. The plan was modest, conventional, so execution was paramount. Clean latrines, daily drills, regulated drinking. If he could transform these whelps into hard-edged soldiers and take the city with only modest loses, he might not have to be doing patrol checks at dawn the rest of his damned life. Lord Steelshanks has a nice ring to it…

The Story

"Walton is a tall and dour man known as Steelshanks for the steel greaves he wears over his long legs. Walton also armors himself in a mail shirt and wields a spear. Steelshanks is loyal and brutal, but not cruel."

This is the third part of this What If? trilogy, along with the Siege Against the Faith at Casterly Rock and the Bloody Hunt. I really enjoy playing best 2 out of 3 connective narrative scenarios, which I've done in the past with the Battle of Blackwater Bay and the Battle for the Wall. It feels epic and definitive to play the conflict out over the course of a many hours across different fields of battle.

This is a fan-made scenario inspired by CMON Limited’s A Song of Ice & Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game and is in no way associated with CMON.
