The Rise of Lady Stoneheart

The images flashed in her head, muddied memories, with pangs that made it nigh impossible to make much sense of it all. She rubbed her neck again, feeling the scabbed scar left by the Frey's dagger. It helped her remember, helped her put some of the pieces back together. She had no desire for food, or drink, or a warm embrace. All she desired was to see them hang and left for dead.

The Story
"Death has changed Catelyn. Lady Stoneheart is less gracious and forgiving than in life, and is consumed with a desire for vengeance on anyone she thinks betrayed her and her son, Robb. She hangs any men associated with the Freys, Boltons, or Lannisters, even if they had nothing to do with the Red Wedding or if they are boys, as is the case of Podrick Payne."
The Scenario
This scenario utilizes the House Frey expansion. It merges two events from the books that signal the arrival of Lady Stoneheart and her unrelenting quest for vengeance against House Frey for their role in the Red Wedding. The first is the epilogue from A Storm of Swords, where Lady Stoneheart is first revealed at Oldstones and brotherhood without banners hangs "Muttonhead" Merrett Frey. The second is when the brotherhood intercept Ryman Frey, Lord Walder Frey's heir, and hang him near Fairmarket.
This is a fan-made scenario inspired by CMON Limited’s A Song of Ice & Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game and is in no way associated with CMON.
