House Frey Expansion

The Lord of White Harbor bit a sausage in half. "I confess …" He wiped the grease from his lips with his sleeve. "… I confess that I know little of this poor boy. Lord Ramsay's squire, was he not? How old was the lad?"

"Nine, on his last nameday."

"So young," said Wyman Manderly. "Though mayhaps this was a blessing. Had he lived, he would have grown up to be a Frey."

Recently, I had created some custom content for a fellow Song community member for a large, themed tournament he was planning. In order to bolster the forces of House Bolton, we thought it would be cool to add some Frey reinforcements. I ended up creating an attachment card for Hosteen Frey and an NCU for Aenys Frey, but in classic Board Man fashion, I had started down an ASOIAF rabbit hole and many new custom characters and units were soon to follow.

It was a lot of fun exploring Walder Frey's expansive household, putting faces to the myriad of names and learning all the dysfunctional family dynamics. Even if you don't use this expansion to play a game of Song, it's a fun look at who's who in the Frey family tree.

Unlike my other custom factions, House Frey were made to expand the House Bolton and Neutral factions. Only the Bolton versions are previewed below, along with two special Neutral only characters. The Neutral versions of everything can be found in the full document PDF and are exactly the same as the Bolton versions. As with my other expansions, all attachments have been designed without free attachment points in mind.
