Burning of Stone Hedge

Lord Jonos Bracken coughed and hacked. Smoke choked the passageway. A woman’s distant screams cut dimly through the walls.

“My lord,” an unseen voice pleaded, “the castle is lost.”

Jonos coughed again. “For today,” he agreed. “Signal the retreat. Make for Riverrun.”

“And if Riverrun has fallen?” the voice asked soberly.

“Pray that it has fallen to a Lannister and not a Clegane.”

The Story

"Ser Gregor Clegane and the Mountain's men burn Stone Hedge and the Bracken lands under orders from Lord Tywin Lannister."

The Scenario

While the Siege of Raventree had the Brackens fighting on the side of the Lannisters, this scenario returns them to their true faction alongside House Tully/House Stark. As I discussed in the Fall of Raventree Hall, I don't plan on creating every event from the book if it seems repetitive or doesn't contain a major/semi-major character. I considered doing the burning of Pinkmaiden in addition to this since it also features the Mountain, but I decided against it since it would be so similar with no interesting commander for the Stark side.

If you’re interested in playing a fully realized House Tully faction that has been balanced for competitive play, please try out House Tully from my friend Kullvox.

This is a fan-made scenario inspired by CMON Limited’s A Song of Ice & Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game and is in no way associated with CMON.
