In the most desperate hour, Azor Ahai plunged his sword into the heart of his wife Nissa Nissa to create Lightbringer. He used this mighty weapon, forged by despair, to defeat the darkness enshrouding the world. With the Others and their undead horde marching toward the Wall, Jon Snow has reached a similar moment of desperation. Jon now hopes one risky act can unite the Seven Kingdoms, just as Aegon the Conqueror’s dragons did three centuries earlier. If Jon and his companions could capture a wight and parade it before the rulers of the Seven Kingdoms, they would have no choice but to join his coalition in the Great War between the living and dead.
The Story
"Jon and Tyrion were ultimately able to convince Daenerys to allow Jon to travel to Eastwatch-by-the-Sea to capture a wight, to use as proof of their return and existence for her and Cersei, the queen who sat on the Iron Throne and the primary opponent of Daenerys in her war."
The Scenario
This scenario utilizes the Others Faction. It's a combination of two events: the wight hunting party's initial contact with the undead snow bear, and the later skirmish with the White Walker by the campfire where they capture a wight.
I've created a special unit just for this scenario and the follow-up Rescue Beyond the Wall, and it's the perfect match for this episode: it's probably terrible, but man it's fun to see all these characters together. The first thing that likely stands out is the obscene cost of 9 points, but this unit was specially designed for these two scenarios. They'll only be battling other infantry and not have to deal with pesky cav or ranged units. The Others player will try to bog them down with cheap units and debuffs, but the unit has enough dice and tricks that it should be able to cut down a couple of enemy units.
