The Ghost of Harrenhal

Arya watched Ser Amory stumble through the courtyard. Drunk again. His foot caught the ground and he lurched forward, reaching out to break the fall. Thump! Amory’s hands found the large chest of Zollo, the Dothraki Bloody Mummer. Arya had to stop herself from gasping. She waited for the bulky Mummer to pull out his arakh and chop Armory Lorch’s hands off. Instead, Zollo snorted and pushed him aside. The Mummers must be up to something…



The Story


"Unknown to Ser Amory Lorch and independently of Arya and Jaqen, Vargo Hoat had previously approached Roose's encampment and struck a deal to turn over the castle to the Starks. While the freed northmen and rivermen are escaping, the Brave Companions simultaneously turn on their former Lannister allies, killing them in their beds or while they are celebrating in the Barracks Hall."



Gameplay & Strategy


The Ghost of Harrenhal custom scenario makes use of Impassable terrain to make battlefield positioning even more strategic. A smart Commander will use the Impassable Ruined Walls to their advantage, protecting the Flank and Rear of their most valuable units. There is also a Special Rule targeting NCUs that represents the growing danger being faced by every player in the game of thrones. If you roll a 1 when Activating an NCU, that NCU and the Tactics Zone lose all abilities for the Round. This could be pivotal, so be sure to make a sacrifice to the Lord of Dice before the game.
