Arriving in the far north with thirty longships and one thousand men, Asha Greyjoy hoped to take Deepwood Motte from the inadequate garrison that had been left behind by Lord Glabart Glover. The north was ripe for the taking, and Deepwood would be the first piece to fall.
The Story
"Asha Greyjoy takes thirty longships of picked men and sails north around Sea Dragon Point. She lands on the tidal flats to the north of Deepwood and seizes the castle after a month long siege with a thousand ironborn."
Gameplay & Strategy
With the corpse piles so close to the objective tokens, it's going to be important for the Greyjoy player to position your troops near Asha and use her morale bubble to your advantage. The Ironmakers make a great commander bunker, and having Erik Ironmaker ensures that you can get that 2+ save on them early.
