Siege of Meereen

Oznak grinned as the portly challenger plodded forward. This is her champion? Champion of the banquet table, perhaps. Oznak pointed his lance at Belwas. He would make quick work of this fool, embarrassing the so-called dragon queen and her cowering lizards.
“Go! Ya! Ya!” Oznak’s charger galloped forward. The whole city of Meereen was cheering from the battlements. Belwas remained oddly still. Oznak let out a primal scream, his lance pointed at the heart of the lazy challenger. When the lance should have ripped a hole in his chest, there was nothing but sand and air. As his charger halted and turned, Oznak heard the clod speak, something about onions. You will be skewered like a dog, in front of my great people and your mewling queen. Meereen is not Astapor. Meereen is not Yunkai. He pointed his lance once more, and charged.

The Story
"The fighting is bitter and bloody for most of a day and well into the night. Daenerys sends rams, protected by great wooden turtles covered with horsehides, to batter the city gates, whilst her archers fire flights of flaming arrows over the walls and her forces storm the walls"
The Scenario
This scenario includes a unique combat unit, the Targaryen Battering Ram. Whenever siege equipment is mentioned in the book, I try to add it to the scenario and then it's up to each player if they want to create a custom model or use a blank tray to represent it. I use the WizKids 4D Battering Ram on an altered Infantry tray for this and the Free Folk Turtle, using infantry models beside it to represent its remaining wounds, and I've been happy with that.
The three corpse piles on the right side of the battlefield represent the 163 crucified slaves that Daenerys was forced to march past on the road to Meereen.
This is a fan-made scenario inspired by CMON Limited’s A Song of Ice & Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game and is in no way associated with CMON.
