Lord Renly's Ghost

The tides of war shifted towards the West when the golden roses of Highgarden rode alongside the lions of Casterly Rock, hunting down exhausted Baratheon soldiers who swore they saw Lord Renly return from the dead. The theater of war was moving from Riverlands battlegrounds to the backrooms of King’s Landing. As the lords plotted their next move, the crows pecked at the rotting corpses that decorated the fields of Westeros.

The Story

"Together, the Lannisters and Tyrells float down the river to disembark half a day's ride from the capital. They arrive at the battle scene at dusk, taking Stannis' army from the rear. Lord Tywin leads the right wing on the north side of the river, while Randyll Tarly commands the center and Mace Tyrell the left. However, it is their vanguard, led by Ser Garlan Tyrell, which plunges through Stannis' army. Dressed in the recognizable armor of the deceased Renly Baratheon, his former supporters, convinced their dead lord has returned, abandon Stannis."

Gameplay & Strategy

This is the fourth and final scenario in the Blackwater series. This is the only time that Stannis Baratheon faces off against Tywin Lannister, so it gives you a chance to pit two of Westeros’ greatest military minds against each other.

If you decide to join these 4 scenarios together to play a long narrative battle, keep track of the Victory Points won for each game. They will be the tiebreaker if the series is tied 2 - 2. If the series is 2 - 2 and the Victory Points accumulated over all 4 matches are equal, victory goes to the Lannister player.

This is a fan-made scenario inspired by CMON Limited’s A Song of Ice & Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game and is in no way associated with CMON.
