Ser Gerold Dayne watched as the crossbow bolt punched through the Kingsguard's shield and pierced his shoulder. Everyone's eyes are on him, he realized. There, almost within arms reach, was Princess Myrcella Baratheon. You do not need a crown to start a war...
Gerold's horse silently trotted a few strides closer to the young princess. He lifted his sword just as the Kingsguard's horse was pelted with quarrels. The courser brayed in agony, and Gerold's horse startled and reared. His sword came down across the side of her face, missing the killing blow. Before her ear hit the ground Darkstar had turned and dashed across the desert sands.
The Story
"Arianne's party is surprised at the Greenblood by Areo Hotah, who orders them to surrender. Gerold agrees since they are outnumbered, but Myrcella's bodygyard, Ser Arys Oakheart of the Kingsguard, rides to his death in an attack on Areo. Amidst the fighting, Gerold attempts to kill Myrcella. Her horse rears, however, and Darkstar succeeds only in slicing off her ear and scarring her face. He escapes Areo's guards by riding into the sands of Dorne."
Gameplay & Strategy
With the release of Martell Heroes Box 2 I was finally able to create some narrative scenarios using the Martells. They make up for lost time by giving you the exciting matchup of House Martell versus... House Martell. With faction mirrors like these I usually print out a second tactics deck, all of which are available on the official CMON ASOIAF:TMG website.
This is a fan-made scenario inspired by CMON Limited’s A Song of Ice & Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game and is in no way associated with CMON.
