Battle at the Mummer's Ford

Edric Dayne watched as Lord Beric’s horse plodded out of the shallow waters, riderless. The squire strode into the water, legs bumping against lifeless bodies floating in the ford. Then, he saw it, bobbing up and own. The lightning bolt of House Dondarrion was concealed, then revealed, by the lapping water. He grabbed hold of Lord Beric, dragging him past the corpses to land.

The young squire looked around hopelessly. He caught the eye of Thoros, the strange R’hllor worshipper from Myr. The red priest took a swig from his flagon and ambled over.

“What can we do?” asked Edric.

Thoros looked at the young lord. He was breathing, just barely. Each wheeze seemed an intolerable pain. Half of Gregor Clegane's lance remained in his torso.

“Will he live?” asked Edric. “What… what can we do?”

“… we can pray,” Thoros answered. “We can pray.”

The Story

"The force under Lord Beric Dondarrion is intercepted at the Mummer's Ford by forces from House Lannister. They make a fighting retreat only to be taken in the rear by Ser Gregor Clegane and the Mountain's men."

The Scenario

This is an extremely defensive scenario with both the forests and river diminishing the power of charges and long ranged attacks. In theory this should benefit the Lannister side,so the Brotherhood need to be smart about when and where they attack.
