The beam of the septry collapsed to the ground, snapping in twain, exploding in a cloud of smoke and embers. Utt was drenched in sweat, the flames of the burning building licking his skin. The gods are punishing me. I am a weak reed, a broken man, and the gods are just… but if I should die, I will take one of those fire worshipping demons along with me! Warrior, give me strength…

The former septon grasped his sword but could not find it in himself to charge out the door like the other Brave Companions. No, no, no, no, no… I must continue to serve the Seven. I must make penance for my sins, but not yet die for them. He noticed the cellar door across the room. Come to your blessed fire, demons. It will be your end, not mine.

The Story

"The archers Anguy, Kyle, and Notch begin the fighting by slaying three Mummer guards shortly before dawn. The Brave Companions inside the septry are multinational, including a Myrish crossbowman, two Ibbenese, Dothraki, and Volantenes, among others. When the septry is set ablaze by fire arrows, the Mummers charge forth but are met by Beric Dondarrion's brotherhood of outlaws."

The Scenario

This scenario introduces a new Neutral commander, Septon Utt of the Bloody Mummers:

This is a fun, yet minor, event from the books that I really wanted to depict. Vargo is not present at the burning septry, so the Mummers are instead led by Septon Utt. I thought this would be a good opportunity to add a new Neutral commander, and I think Utt adds a lot to the Bloody Mummers subfaction.

Utt, much like Vargo, utilizes Weakened tokens and panic damage. His abilities also lean into his faith as he is a former septon who still cares deeply about the Faith of the Seven.

This is a fan-made scenario inspired by CMON Limited’s A Song of Ice & Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game and is in no way associated with CMON.
