Ambush at Dragonstone

"Aquan, please! Defend the body of your humble servant!" The priest prayed loud enough that any true god would hear. Usually, on every thirteenth day, this priest of Aquan the Red Bull would sacrifice a pure white calf and offer bowls of blood to beggars. Euron Crow's Eye laughed as he slit the priest's throat and filled a bowl of his own. "Pour this on the scorpion bolt, along with the blood and seed we collected this morning." He lifted the priest's lifeless body and tumbled it overboard.

Euron had been collecting from priests all over the world, both prayers and bodily fluids. He knew that taking out Daenerys Stormborn's winged-children was the only way to win this war. Euron shut his smiling eye and foresaw his future: a lifeless dragon sinking to the bottom of the sea, the cheering crowds of King's Landing, and the deft fingers of Queen Cersei fiddling with his bum.

... please forgive me for trying to merge book Euron with show Euron.

The Story

"All of a sudden, seemingly from out of nowhere, a gigantic scorpion bolt plunges into Rhaegal's chest. Moments later, a second bolt strikes through Rhaegal's left wing, quickly followed by a third and final bolt which rips through the dragon's throat, fatally wounding him. As Rhaegal plunges into the sea, a portion of the Iron Fleet (about 12 ships), armed with massive scorpions, is revealed to have been waiting at Dragonstone with Euron himself at its command."

Gameplay & Strategy

To reflect the preposterousness of the situation, there had to be Builder Scorpion Crews appearing out of nowhere. The Targaryen player would be wise to shield the dragons as best they can before the Scorpions are Deployed. Once they are on the battlefield, you should feel more confident navigating your powerful dragons around. Don't forget that Rhaegal doesn't get his Maneuver Action when he Activates as a result of the Wounds he suffered during the Long Night.
